So You Think We Can Blog?

For Dia de los Muertos we decided to skip a super crowded trip with Ender's school (which apparently was amazing and we should have gone...dang having a kid sometimes) and instead go back to the first neighborhood we lived in. They have a pretty big cemetery there I always wanted to go to and never did. We decided to take the quick trip there and hope to catch a little of what goes on in the cemeteries on this day. Apparently little happens in that cemetery. We did see the occasional family singing at a grave and some people cleaning up headstones and the surrounding area. I guess most of the celebrating goes on the night before.  We decided it was worth the trip just to get out of the house and to take some photos of the old statues and head stones. Just a couple of weeks after we got back from our US visit, we had visitors. We don't get too many here so it's really fun when we do. Ender's parents came and brought along two of our nephews and our niece. On our first adventure Nana and Papa took everyone to Six Flags to swim with the dolphins. It was such a cool experience. They had some pretty cool roller coasters that the older kids enjoyed.  Jacob was too small to go on pretty much everything so he hung out in his stroller and walked around.  Since it was the summer in Mexico City we got rained on a bit but it didn't really slow us down.  It was a long (mostly) fun day.
